Social Value Report
This report showcases the social, economic and community value nGAGE delivered in our 23/24 financial year.
nGAGE Talent partnered with Social Value Portal to help embed social value into our brands, enabling us to measure, validate and report on the Group’s positive contributions to local communities and wider society.
As a people-focused business in the talent management sector, we strive to build a resilient, dynamic workforce.
One that bolsters the economy and empowers the local communities where our customers operate. From hiring locally to supporting disadvantaged communities, our focus on local employment and community engagement makes a lasting impact across the UK.
“Social value is at the core of our mission. We’re proud to provide meaningful contributions to the local communities in which we operate, and this report showcases the tangible outcomes of that effort.” Claudia Dommett-Noehren, Group Head of ESG at nGAGE.
Working with Social Value Portal, we established our first formal Social Value Policy and Strategy in 2023.
Our key impact areas, where we can deliver the most benefit to society, are facilitating:
- more employees entering work,
- employees returning to work, and
- overcoming barriers to obtaining employment.
We embed social value into everything we do. The Social Value Portal’s TOMs framework enables us to measure the impact of our activities. The TOM System was developed by the National Social Value Taskforce, a cross-sector organisation that combines public and private sector organisations. Our inaugural Social Value Report details how our work impacted communities and local economies. This includes:
- Prioritising local employment to boost local economic growth
- Driving staff wellbeing, ensuring our workforce remains healthy and supported
- Supporting community volunteering and career initiatives to support local communities and promote employment and skills
“As part of our Social Value Strategy, we have committed to maximising our social value by focusing our efforts on where we can have the greatest impact.” Louise Hindley, Group Chief People Officer & Executive ESG Lead at nGAGE.
Over the past year, we’ve enabled £23,612,995.29 million in social and local economic benefit. All driven by our commitment to purposeful actions.
- Social: Our efforts in creating healthier, safer, and more resilient communities have delivered £26,824.15 in social value.
- Responsible business: We’ve contributed £82,402.87 towards improving staff wellbeing and promoting responsible DEI practices.
- Sustainable local economic growth: 570 employees are employed within 20 miles of our key locations, providing a positive economic impact of £22.5m in local economic value and minimising carbon emissions.
nGAGE believes in creating a lasting impact by aligning our values with the needs of our customers and communities. This is only the beginning as we strive to deliver even greater value in the years to come.
Join us as we work towards a more inclusive, sustainable, and dynamic workforce.
